![]() ![]() They called up the manager *** who rolled her eyes at me shaking her head and told me no I could not get a discount. I asked if I could at least get a discount on my order that Ill need to place in store and now have to wait on. This is just professionalism and standard behavior that an employee should do who is working in the front taking orders over the phone and processing order pick **** This let me know the Red Crab employees intentionally left the phone off the hook when I first called at 9:54pm so no other customers could call in to place any additional orders. Even if the store was busy, the employee in the front can process 2 payments for customers picking their orders that called in and then come back to take the new order for the customer calling in. They told me they were busy but there were no other customers in the store when I arrived and the store phone was just laying on the counter with me being left on hold for 14 minutes. ![]() I know it was him who answered the call because I recognized his voice and there was no other guy working in the front. I told him it was a guy that I spoke to last. He said "I don't know, that wasn't him" He said it must have been a female that answered. I asked the male employee at the front why didnt pick the phone back up to take my order. I informed them the reason I called in to place my order over the phone in advance so I wouldnt have to wait but they left me on hold for 14 minutes and I was still on hold when I arrived. When I arrived at the restaurant I saw the store phone just laying on the counter with me still on hold. I was left on hold for so long I was able to drive all the way from my house all the way to the restaurant before they got back on the phone to take my order. At 10:19pm I finally was able to get back through a male employee answered and I was immediately placed on hold, again. I continued to call trying to get through but I kept getting a busy signal. When I was ready I called back at 10:02pm and I got a busy signal. I ended the call because I needed to get ready to drive to the restaurant. After about 3 minutes she never came back to the phone to take my order but I could hear employees just talking in the background. When I called, a female employee answered and I was immediately placed on hold. I place my orders over the phone in advance because it takes about 15 minutes for me to drive to Red Crab from where I live so by the time I get to the restaurant my order would be ready and I would not have to wait. They close at 11pm on Saturdays so out of respect for the restaurant business my intent was to place my order over the phone at least one hour in advance instead of going at the last 20 -30 minutes when they are trying to close. I called the Red Crab on Saturday, to place an order at 9:54pm. ![]()
